I applied 4/1 with 0 employees for EIDL as a w-2 worker with some rental properties. Got 1k in the bank 2 days ago. No call, no email, no text message, no follow-up. Haven't got any information regarding the loan itself though

Yes, several people have got their credit pulled. Funds have been allocated already, meaning they're not taking any new applications, but PREVIOUS applications, like yours have money allocated to it. No NEW applications

You missed the sarcasm Elisabet. The original poster is trying to make light of the coronavirus. I reply "Italy faking their deaths I guess" to highlight how serious it is with their death toll.

I then further point how serious it is in the post directly above yours that I made..

Read the discussion over again, your anger is misdirected.

So, it must really be capable of killing thousands upon thousands then, unless (per your comment) you get quality medical care.. It's also very contagious.

You mention the other factor of why people are dying in Italy is due to their hospitals without proper resources..

Maybe this very contagious thing that will require hospitals with good resources to survive at a high rate is something to worry about then?

1.4% of our entire population is still millions of people. (327 million in USA)

I'm not sure what your profession is, but Stanford federal credit union offers 1% down payment options for medical professionals. There are other programs similar depending on what you do full time.

I currently have a duplex in Hawaiian gardens and house hacked there for my first property few years ago. Hawaiian gardens was gang/crime infested in the 80s/90s. In 2000s they had one of largest law enforcement collaboration to weed out the gangs and made a huge change to the neighborhood. With that being said, the neighborhood is 90%+ Hispanic, lower income, working class. There was a man shot and killed last year sitting in front of his house, kind of neighborhood with a guy in a white tank top sitting in a rocking chair in front of his house all day, fireworks at least weekly, people put on their hazards and park in the middle of the street, lots of houses with too many dogs, houses that haven’t been updated in 30+ years.

I bought the duplex in 2016 for 440k, it was appraised last year at 530k (with updates). Easy to rent, and cash flows a few hundred
