sanjose south covers a few areas in its own. the most ideal is almaden. on a zillowmap for example, move closer to alamden expressway and further away from monterey road. for these two specific neighborhoods... the schools really do say it all. follow the schools. It is not that there is crime, but there are some c class zones for sure. the cars on the street also say a lot. 1990 honda vs 2015 suv, etc

i'm in the middle of a claim now. Many items like the broken closet doors and holes in the walls and broken screen doors and windows are being covered under a vandalism claim ( due to circmstances with the tenant leaving). The destroyed carpet and damage from pet will not be covered. Of course it depends on your circumstances and it depends on the insurance policy.

no idea about that. But years ago, I met a roomate online before there was an apartment. We met, agreed to be roomates and then started apartment hunting. You could always do something like that until you close on a house

i would budget for 2 months with no roomates to be prepared in case. i think roomates are easier to find then tenants

Post: need a contractor/handdyman recommendation for closet

HI,
i am not sure if this is where I can ask for recommendations, but.....
i have two bedroom closets with no doors, but open all the way up to the ceiling. Instead of getting custom made tall doors, I am looking for someone who can build that small wall section that is horizontal above most closet doors. i can then buy standdard size closet doors now and in the future. Can anyone recommend someone for that?
and if they are a handy type, I also have two window ac units put into horizontal sliding windows. They were put with plywood blocking the hole. I would rather have that swapped out with plexi from tap plastics or a place like that. But does anyone have a person they recommend for a job like that??
any help for this acidental landlord trying to fix up a house that was trashed would be appreciated!!

is the vacancy and effort to get a new tenant worth more than the convenience for you?
