Hi @J. Martin Something came up this Thursday, I won't be able to make it =( I believe Chris will still be there. Please keep us posted on the next one though. I will make it to February if you're going to set up another one. But I'll answer your questions anyway =)
A little about myself: Been studying and reseaching about RE investing for years. My partner Chris and I officially started our business in 2012. Proud Start Investments LLC. I am currently studying to obtain my RE license and I also am a Home Stager. Our main focus is flipping or wholesaling homes to build enough capital to purchase buy and holds.
In State / Out of State? For now, we are doing in state.. local to the Bay Area, but will eventually pervade other states.
Strategy? Currently our focus is Fix and flips and wholesales but will branch out to buy and holds in the future.
Type of properties? SFR
Looking for? SFR to flip or wholesale.

First of all, get out of here with your "I'm old" BS!! Haha.. 23? You are at a perfect age to start. If you say you make a lot of money in your job, then save as much as you can and maybe start off either doing a flip or wholsale just to gain more capital. Master that, then get into the buy and hold world. That is the route I'm taking so it is just my opinion! Good luck with everything, youngin!
