I've used dallas green works multiple times and I am very happy with both their price and their attention to detail. They have inspected homes for me from pilot point to Saginaw. Good luck with the offer!

Existing relationships are the easiest way to start out. My clients are all either acquaintances or family. Facebook is a great way to market to those who already know you for free. Letting them in on each stage would also help to remind them you will be an agent soon without trying to sell them anything. I am printing my own postcards to mail next week in a monthly mail campaign. Eddm is about 18 cents per door but you have to mail every door in the route, about 500-800 depending on the route. Hope this helps.

I believe my classes were about $500 from realestateexpress.com. Board/mls dues were a little over $800. My broker (Small world realty, 80+ agents) doesn't charge all the fees that the other brokers do. Many of my fellow agents are part-time. I've only been part time for a month and I've got 2 serious buyer clients and one listing that will come on in April. I tan very glad I got my license.

I'm mainly looking for what practices other agents use in their businesses.

I'm wondering, outside of putting a listing on the MLS and a sign in the yard, what kind ways have you marketed a listing?

@David Hunter, where do you get your postcards printed? What's the cost?
