Hi,
I wanted to thank you everyone for helping me find a realtor in the Orlando area. Here's my next ask. Who would you go with to get homeowner's insurance on a rental property? Also, do you have any recommended property management companies? If so, why do you recommend them.
Thanks much, looking forward to getting my first investment in FL.

@Scott Esmail thank you for the referral for Dave Foster. I've reached out to him already and am planning to use him as my QI. I just haven't told him yet ;)
@Tyler Gibson @Kim Meredith Hampton Hi Tyler, I'll try give you a call on Friday. I know it's right before a long holiday, but would love to start getting some listings of areas you think might be a good investment property.
@Account Closed Thank you for that information. I was unaware that the City of Orlando had much stricter rules. I have family that live in Winter Park and Oviedo, but my rental doesn't need to be near them. I'll keep in mind to avoid those 2 areas that are of higher risk.
@Matt Nico Thank you for the suggestions of the 4 counties. I'll have to look on a map as I'm not very familiar.

Hi, I am doing a 1031 exchange and am considering purchasing a rental in the Orlando market. I have family in the area and I typically visit once a year, so thought it would make sense to make part of my trip as a business expense.
My question is where is the best area/towns/zips for rentals? I'm looking for a combination of cash flow and appreciation. Would a STR be better than a LTR in Orlando?
I am also looking for a realtor and property management company.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hi Nick,
I live in the Sacramento region and I just started my OOS investing in December 2018. I purchased 2 properties in OKC. I haven't actually received rent check yet, but things are going fairly well. I also purchased 2 properties in Toledo, OH. Both turnkey providers have been great to work with.
I'm actually thinking of diversifying a bit and checking out Cleveland, St. Louis, and Kansas City. Hit me up if you'd like to chat and I'd be happy to share my experiences with you.
Happy hunting!

Hi,
I am just about to close on my second property with OCF. My first property was already tenanted, so the transition went very smoothly. I recently had an issue with the neighbor; however, Engelo and his team was able to help resolve the issue without much headache. I am super excited about our second investment property and look forward to a long-lasting relationship with OCF.
For anyone that has not dealt with Engelo and his team, one of my favorite things about them is that they are GREAT communicators, I'm not sure if they ever sleep. Sometimes I get replies back in a few hour, not a few days. I truly appreciate the attentiveness they provide and their world-class service.
