I went to SA today for meeting I wish i can attend it, maybe next time.
I agree with @Kristen about Nevada, Delaware & Texas offer the best asset & liability protection. I spent less than $400 for LLC that's including "Registered Agent".
$1,200 for LLC way toooo much, so many promotion to get the money out from your wallets, be wise.
Go to legalzoom.com and get the quote for LLC on your state
Anyway Nevada is the best if you want to build C Corp.

I read article on WSJ article says even drop to $53 on Eagle Ford Shale area on Texas still Profitable to drill.
"Some U.S. oil fields, including the Eagle Ford Shale and Permian Basin in Texas, would remain attractive for drillers even at much lower oil prices. An analysis by Robert W. Baird & Co. said prices could drop to $53 a barrel in certain parts of the Eagle Ford and still be profitable to drill."
