@Morgan Blackmore Kob khun krap! Congrats on the success of your box. I could imagine the satisfaction of growing it from nothing. I might have to stop in sometime and put a Grace time on the whiteboard and meet the crowd. Good luck with the upcoming open and getting started in REI.

@Ron Carlson Thanks for the tip.
@Zach Schwarzmiller My good friend/codriver is up in Everett right now. Looking to spend some time up in your area.
@J. Martin Thanks for the welcome!
@Michele Fischer That's awesome you had that experience! We'll see how the investing goes and maybe we'll get one started. I've read a little about King County... definitely going to read some more.
@Suzie Remilien Best of luck finding a home! With all the support around here, sounds like you'll be way ahead of the game.
@Dmitriy Fomichenko Thanks!

@Eric Belgau Thanks for the heads up on the soil. I'll keep that in mind going forward.
@Alex Koerger Bummer about the Ale House, but it sounds like there's a few alternatives. Might have to plants a few hops in the garden.
@Brandon Turner Definitely will be in touch. We interestingly were perusing farmland listings out in the Montesano area to start a bison ranch as part of a "semi" retirement plan down the road. Sounds like there's a bit to learn about Tacoma so I'll use the next few months to do some studying and couple that with an on the ground assessment when we get there. We'll take the rain over the east coast humidity any day of the week. So over it...
@Stephanie Dupuis Thanks for the welcome! My first trip ever to Washington was to the Bremerton area and it was awesome. So much to do up there and just a ferry ride away from Seattle.
Thank you all for the warm welcomes. It's making us even more excited to get up there.

Thanks for the welcome! Definitely hoping to learn from everyone up that way.
We're going to be moving from eastern North Carolina where we've been from the last couple years. We're die hard skiers at heart so getting back the mountains is going to be absolutely glorious. Thanks for all the tips on the layout of the city (and the Beer recommendation too).
See you guys around.

Hi Everyone!
My wife and I are moving up to Tacoma, WA this spring and are looking to get started in real estate investing. First order of business is finding our primary home and then we will be quickly looking for our next deal. Hoping to lock down both by the end of the summer. Currently looking at SFHs to buy and hold at the moment but in discussions with a potential partner to go in on some multi-family properties. Hoping to get started networking with the PNW folks already on here and then share some of the craft brews I've been hearing about when we get there.
We started listening to the podcasts over the holidays and have been addicted ever since. The shear wealth of information contained in the podcasts and on the website is unreal and has given us the confidence to go for our first deal. Very excited to start this new chapter of our lives and see what we can do with everything we've learned and will learn in the future.
Happy Investing!
