Thanks for all who have chimed in.

@Robert Leonard - I asked about E&O prematurely. In the situation of wholesaling I guess it wouldn't be necessary. But If I was to buy and hold, or buy, fix, & flip then it's different. From what I understand Rice Insurance for the State of TN does not cover an agent's property. It's supposedly a separate rider. @Bryan L. - Have you found that to be the case since you are licensed in TN? (You are a beast! - That's a compliment!) I like the website and business card. Thanks for replying I'm gonna have to borrow some of those ideas!

Hello To All!! Anybody out there wholesaling as a licensed agent? I have a few questions in my mind that I wanted to get answered. I'm a licensed agent in the State of TN. I was just curious as to whether or not being a licensed agent under a broker becomes disloyal when wholesaling comes into play? I plan on marketing separately under a different brand/name of course. Also, are there other agents out there who are wholesaling with additional E&O insurance? Even though we are not taking title to the property?

I have had the same problems here in Jackson, TN. I'm a RE agent who occasionally does some leasing for some quick and easy money. Anyway, what I have done is watermarked the photos with my contact info, email, Facebook page to deter these scammers from using my pics. It seems to have worked so far. Just time consuming. Go to photobucket.com - it's easy to use. You can watermark one pic with your website, another with your phone #, another with your email. Hope that helps. & good luck!
Hello to all!!! I have been following BP for a long time but his is my first post. My name is Duane Mangalindan, I live in Jackson, TN. I have been here for 5 years originally from L.A. I'm a Real Estate Agent by trade & a RE investor at heart & mind. Thanks to Josh Dorkin & Brandon Turner & their AMAZING podcast. Especially the ones with Chris Clothier & Mike Lacava. Any tips on trying to narrow down a niche?
