so i work with investors in the Tampa metro. all I have to say is that any where in the Tampa metro as long as the number makes sense is worth it .lots of the deal we have go out with in the hour if not by the end of the week. so its safe to say its still a good market . 

I agree I moved down to saint Petersburg about 11 months ago. I've noticed in the short amount of time I've been here that there is still more people moving to saint Petersburg mainly young individuals. Not to mention I help investors find off market properties and I've noticed that our demand has increased as well witch kind of surprised me . definitely a good market that's  on the run. 

as a successful real estate investor what is a couple of things that are necessary to successful in this industry ?

 to go off what Elliot said, once your find a great deal and you let people know you have a good deal the money will come. there are numerous investors/private lenders looking for good deals.

Hey everyone, I recently moved down from Washington state to saint Petersburg Florida to begin my real estate career. I'd love to network with any like minded individuals in the area. The way I found a mine was through local networking events, you can find these events on Facebook groups. good luck brother!

As Bjorn mentioned its a good idea to meet with local investor through Facebook groups or networking events. That way they can really give you valuable information .
