Hi BP fam,
I am curious about a Househack Duplex in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Phoenix Metro. Currently live in Dallas, Tx
Duplex because we would like more privacy.
I want to be near Asian Groceries: Hmart, 99 Ranch
Climbing gym: Bouldering Project Tempe or Alta Boulders in Chandler
Is living in Mesa dangerous?
What do the numbers look like? Is it more STR,MTR or LTR Friendly?
I want to assume a 5% down.
Thank you!

@Rob Lee Househack as in rent by the room and live with others?
How does the high property tax / high interest rate look right now in buying a first home? It is hard to navigate in these crazy times

Hi BP Friends,
I live in the bay area at the moment and was wondering what the prospects are for a Househack in SD.
I would like a comfortable househack and not having to share a kitchen. I say comfortable because the gf doesn't want the idea of having to see the tenants. Ideally separate... I don't know the area of San Diego well enough, but is it possible in SD? What prices am I looking at?
Thanks in advance!

@Nina Hayden Thanks for sharing. I saw there was no costco on the east side at all! haha!
What area are you in that the duplex is at $900k? How the the taxes with that or is that not a big deal in your calculation

@Neil Narayan whenever i think of east, it sounds like it could be bad? I live in east side San jose, CA, and I dealt with crimes. I will have to look into that area more
What areas in the east should i check out? Was never in my radar since i was just looking to be north

Hi Austin friends,
I am now thinking of moving to Austin but was thinking of either renting or buying a property to live in then rent out.
I was looking to have fun and live (rent) near downtown or the domain but maybe the more logical and financial idea to buy a place and then rent out. I was thinking the North area. I know the big thing is property taxes here.
Thank you all!

@Matthew Terry How did you find these investor friendly realtors?
@Steve Kontos I guess land-lord friendly makes a huge difference?

@Charles Goetz thanks for sharing your perspective on the size that DFW is. It definitely can only get bigger.
@Bruce Lynn - thanks Bruce. They all equal out and I will make sure to run the numbers. Easier to dive in now
