Hey all, we have been looking at properties in Orlando for STR. We have houses in other markets but this is our first time looking at Orlando and STR. We have been looking at 4+ bedroom properties in Davenport, Kissimmee, Champions Gate.
Do any of you have any recommendations when it comes to locations in the Orlando area?

Hey guys, so I have my own business and over the past year or so I have saved a substantial amount of money. My question is: Where should I start or what kind of deals should I be looking at?
My goal is to eventually create a portfolio of properties that will pay me $20k a month in monthly income, obviously, I am aware that this takes time and a large enough portfolio. But I have to start somewhere!

Hey all, hope all is good. So I've started out with my real estate journey over 18 months ago buying SFH and a couple Multi family. I live in Abu Dhabi and invest from here. Anyway I work with a lot of high net worth individuals and one of them came to me this week and asked for help selling his property and to me honest I thought he meant maybe a holiday home or something like that. He is actually selling a residential and commercial property in Rochester Minnesota. From looking at his monthly cash flow and from what he has told me the property has been mismanaged. He is asking $27 million dollars for the buildings but is willing to do a deal, I tried to get him to go down the seller financing route but that is not an option at this time.
Like I said this a large deal, I’ve never sold or wholesaled a deal before any tips for something this big?

@Justin Pineiro thank you for the info. Are there particular areas that you would recommend to look at?

So we are looking at Florida as a market to invest in, are there any areas/cities that investors would recommend looking at? We are looking at purchasing multi-family units, we can close with cash or if needs be private money.
Thanks in advance! :)

Fortunately there are lots of resources here on BP.
When you reach out to agents etc. here on BP let them know immediately you are pre-approved with a lender.
Be clear in what you want to do...(I.E. I want to focus on small multifamily in C or B areas with a price range of 80K to 150K and want cashflowing properties with 2% rule).
After trial and error with two different PMs in Cleveland I have finally struck gold with my third PM there. I also have been able to find an investor friendly lender as well as an investor friendly Realtor that is used to dealing with out of State and out of the country investors. Again...the first step will be to get pre-approved with a lender....if you don't then you will not be taken seriously.
Thanks for the advice Brian, much appreciated. We are cash buys but we have also been referred to a lender who does loans for overseas investors. We were looking at SFH as well as Multifamily units in B/C areas.
