Hey @Howard Grannick Great to see you on BP! There is a ton of information here to help you with buy/hold and flipping. Cheerst!
@Leland Barrow Thank you very much for your post, this was very informative and gave me a little confidence in going back to my original plan.
@Yousef Reda Yeah that makes sense, just would suck to get underwater in payments :/
Recently I have been torn with my decision on execution and I'd like to hear what BP has to say.
I currently don't own any properties and I am looking to purchase a multi-family unit so that I can get my first property, rent it out and start building equity.
I have heard from multiple friends about how the market is on peak and I should probably wait to purchase a property.
What opinions do you guys have with this topic?

Welcome to BP!
I myself just finished the free course and I highly recommend it! Also the managing rental properties book and videos are really good too.
You are going to do great, stay motivated and persist through!

I can tell you are serious because you purchased pro subscription with little post count. That's awesome!!

Looking forward to this event, it's my first BP Meetup and I am super excited.
Hey Jess,
Great to see you on BP!
I am in the same boat as you, living in San Diego has a lot of high prices for my budget. So I am looking in areas that are an hour away from me, specifically in places where I have lived. I noticed that prices are dramatically reduced farther away. I am new and don't have a lot of experience but this is what I am doing.
