Jonathan Hulen my only real hesitation is that it's really far away from me , wanted to invest somewhere closer so I can self manage the property

@kyle M. I've already read rich dad poor dad , set for life is my next read after I finish the millionaire real estate investor . I do understand it's not an asset , but at the right price and with Atleast 2 units it could be . The area I'm looking at (Hollis, queens village) is relatively cheaper than other areas like the one I currently live in (Jamaica hills, briarwood) . 6 bedroom 2 family for around 600k with a good chance for appreciation as well as cash flow , and if not cash flow , will completely wipe out my rent .

@remone Randolph I wish this was a possibility but unfortunately it is not , as both of my jobs are in NYC and also my parents live with me so I can't really uproot them from they're life here , it wouldn't be fair to them . Also I read every chance I get ! Are there any other options ? I hate paying rent to someone else ! It's just aches my bones
