Think big (You got that down,) Start small (My man, get that first deal started and roll it into the next one,) move fast (After you start, again, get that second and third deal rolling)
Most importantly, read... read and listen and ask a lot of questions

Is there a question here? Haha. Welcome to a lifetime of reading books-- Mark Cuban talks about the importance of continually educating yourself in your field and how you should know it better than anyone

We use Asana at work to log hours, tasks, etc and I plan on using the same for my real estate business! Although I know it's not the only software, I would take a look

In my opinion you SHOULD do "this" part-time.
It will make financing deals A LOT easier and it will give you peace of mind knowing you're not hunting down deals to just pay the bills when you're still brand new
So maybe you're asking if it's possible to be good investor while committing to a day job.. the answer is absolutely, yes

Aside from that I enjoy reading up on the financial markets and graphics design.
It really is easy to get tied up with it.. I really do though haha. I spend a lot of my free time reading or looking at properties, I don't think it's very intentional-- that's just where my attention wants to be.
And I agree, cars and car sounds are awesome

Just curious to see what the people of BiggerPockets like to do BESIDES (any&all) things related to real estate. I understand people are dedicated and their lives genuinely do revolve around real estate (There is nothing wrong with that!) but surely we have other hobbies, right?
Other than real estate, what holds your curiosity? Please share below.
Personally, I love fishing big lakes. More important to me than that, lifting heavy things in the gym is a huge part of my life as well. I also really like cars.. A sports car paired with a manual transmission is such an amazing thing.

1 million Double Cheeseburgers.
Really though. I would leverage that into 3-5M and buy in areas that I know are appreciating-- even dip down into deals less than the 1% rule (living dangerously here, i know..) knowing appreciation is almost guaranteed
or 500k Double Cheeseburgers and a Lambo.. so many options.

You get started by learning-- this can be accelerated by reaching out to an active investor in your area and genuinely showing interest and wanting to learn
I've spent the last 8-9 months studying real estate and am now just starting to put together my first potential deal(s)
Good luck!
