Thanks @Karl Krentzel and @David P.  that was a huge help! I'm not trying to make excuses, I just want to make sure I'm not making bad offers and also want to make sure I am building good relationships with RE agents. A lot of them don't want to work with wholesalers due to their previous experience with them. I'm trying to stand out as someone different from the others.

What would you recommend wholesalers offer to RE agents in order for them to run comps and/or provide access to the MLS? I receive deals that I can't close, so sometimes I offer that, but I'm not sure of what other incentives to offer.

Hey @Douglas Bolte and @Thomas Hallensleben ,

Check out Meetup.com. There is a KCIG Saturday Networking Coffee next week in the Westport area at Panera Bread. They meet the 1st Saturday of every month. I'll be going to my first meeting there next Saturday. Hope to see you there! Also, like @Aaron Brown stated, MAREI is another REIA in the Kansas City area.

I haven't gone to a meeting before and will be pushing out of my comfort zone to get where I want to be in real estate. Should I have a "pitch" to use every time I speak with someone new? I have a general idea of what I want to say to advertise what I do and who I am, I just didn't know if there was a certain way to go about it. Plus, I'm in the KCMO area and am looking for other people to connect with!

Thanks!

Christian, you're awesome! I will do just that. You've helped to make this a smooth process so far. It's not going unnoticed!

Anyone know of a good contractor who gives reasonable estimates on properties?
