Thanks for the reply John. We are looking to buy our first rental property in Naples/Bonita area but properties thereafter we will be considering Ft Myers/Cape Coral area. We aren't ready to buy in the Cape as of yet but when we are I will reach out to you. Thank you!

Hey @Michael Montalto,
I am from Naples, FL and am also looking for a duplex in the Naples/Bonita area and still have not found a realtor. You would think it would be really easy but my experience has been that the realtors set you up with an automated email alerting you to properties that fit your criteria but never follow up. When I find a realtor (or when you do) who has experience with investors I will surely pass on there info. Best of luck!

@Nate Hedrick I am a RPh that graduated in 2017. I currently live in Atlanta, GA but will be moving back to my hometown of Naples, FL in March of 2018. My wife and I will be purchasing a duplex to do the house hacking idea to help expedite paying off my student debt. Wishing you luck on your blog. Please let me know when your blog is up and running. Best of luck!

@John Crean - to help payoff your student loans faster you should look into "house hacking". This will save tremendously on living expenses and may put some money in your pocket depending on the property.

@Kevin Dong yes I realize the real estate in Naples in crazy expensive and the returns in this area is subpar. But this is my hometown and my wife and I have decided this is place we would like to live despite the high real estate prices. But to help offset some of the living expenses we would like to house hack with a duplex/triplex. So I am really looking for a realtor in the area who can help us find this type of property for $275k or less. Thanks for your response Kevin.

@John Thedford Thanks for your reply! Yes prices are better in the Cape in comparison to Naples/Bonita area. We would like to stay in Naples/Bonita since this is where our family is and would like to stay close to them. In addition, I know that HOA fees are a killer on your bottom line and they have many rules that can be restrictive to real estate investors and so we would most likely pass on a property that has an HOA. John do you know of any investor friendly real estate agents in the area that might help me find a duplex/triplex in Naples/Bonita? Thanks for your time.

Hello everyone,
I will be moving to Naples/Bonita Springs by the end of March 2018. I am seeking an owner occupied duplex, triplex, 4plex in that area. My budget is $275k, preferably less, and distressed properties would be ideal. Do you guys have a realtor in the area that you recommend who specializes in multi-family properties? Any help would be great, thank you.
