@Alina Trigub Thanks for the quick response! I have searched PMs in that area, but most of them popped up as PMs for smaller rentals such as single families, duplexes, four plexes, etc.

I'll keep searching and see what I can find out.

@Nathan Gesner Thanks for the response and especially the advises for interview items. Very professional, extremely helpful!

I see that you are from Cody WY. Do you also have PMs in Columbus Ohio?

Geoffrey

Hi,

I have been paying attention to the multi-family market of Columbus Ohio and feel it's been pretty active for the recent couple of years. Since I am out of town and I am not familiar with the local neighborhood. Can professionals here provide some opinions about investing in the South Eastern Suburb of Columbus? To be more specific, I mean the neighborhoods to the south of I-70 and southeast of loop 270. Is this a relatively safe area? Is it a good rental market there? What are the risks and potentials of investing in multi-families in this area?

Thanks in advance!

Geoffrey

Hi,

I am from California and about to purchase an apartment complex in the south east suburb of Columbus Ohio. I am looking for a PM who has experiences managing large apartment complexes. Can anyone refer a few PMs to me so that I can begin to talk to them and get to know them?

Thanks!

Geoffrey

@Jaron Walling Thanks for the extremely helpful information. I will be alerted about those neighborhoods. @Jeb Brilliant Thanks for the advice. I'm interested to take a look at the deals your friend has, at least to get a sense of the standard/good deals over there. Is your friend a local investor or outof state investor?

Jaron and Steve, thanks for the inputs! This is the first time I pay attention to the Indianapolis area. Any other neighborhood I should avoid when choosing a investment property, especially for an out of state investor?

@Ross Denman

What's your opinion for the area between 30th street to 42nd street and N Franklin Rd to N German  Church Rd.? Any streets to avoid?

Thanks!
