I was hoping there would be a folder on my profile I could save articles to, as well.

It's nicknamed "Spokompton" for a reason.  Be very careful to investigate your neighborhoods.  That, of course, being true everywhere.  Patience is a virtue.  :)

I turn my ringer to *silent* when I go to bed for the night.  The only reason to leave it on is if one of my teenagers is gone for the night and I may need to respond.  I don't think it's horrible to email at night, but probably better to save as Draft and send in the morning.  I've had periods of frantic creativity at night myself and it's hard not to write when the words are flowing.  I think most people my age and younger know how to turn off notifications at night, so generally speaking if they are under 45-ish, it's probably okay.  Then again...young children finally put to sleep, or elderly parents and you keep the phone on just in case.  HM.  I'd say write away, but save as Draft, send in the morning.

@Colby Litzenberger  - Welcome!  My folks retired out there.  Compared to Seattle, home prices are great!  I'm considering Spokane as an option since Seattle is so expensive.

Hi, everyone!  It was great to meet some like minded people and make some connections.  It felt like there was a good mix of people from across the board.

I'd also like to attend the Lynnwood meeting.  When/where is that?  Thanks!

You can spin it however you want but when a 22 year old girl is with a man older than me there's a reason but you can be naive and think what you want and that she really loves him and would be with him even if he wasn't paying her rent. My son and his wife live in the building and have told me its an old man with a gorgeous young woman they see them all the time.

I cannot believe you referred to any professional woman on this board as "sweetie".

The "sweetie" thing went right by me..... as I hate being called "Miss".

Indeed. The '30s are long since past. I remember how hard my mother had to fight to break the glass ceiling in the '70s. Such terms are disrespectful. No professional person of this day and age would even consider using them. I'll keep the rest of my personal opinions of the OP to myself. Agreed with all that this has been a most entertaining read.

@Mehran K. - Yours was the first podcast I listened to, and thank you!

This may be a dumb question, but how can I listen to podcasts while I'm driving? I have an iPhone....surely there's an app for that! Does it use my data? Thanks for tips!
