@Rose Ventura, I doubt the county will supply you a condensed list of names, but I might be wrong because I've never asked them for one! :-)

Have you perhaps tried List Source? It's free to sign up, but you have to pay for the list(s) once you have selected what you want included in the list.

Hey Mark not sure how I missed this log of yours, it is inspirational thanks for posting it.

Have you perhaps looked at IKEA for cabinets? They recently had good prices on kitchen cabinets and a good discount on them if you were a "IKEA Family" member...

Following the thread and looking forward to the next update.

Guys, I promise you now, I signed up for training recently that comes from someone that you would never-ever-ever expect to be even associating himself with "guru" training...but yet he does. I stayed away from anything that even remotely had a smell of anything "guru" on the recommendation of BP...so I signed up for training by someone that is nearly mentioned in every BP podcast, and low and behold - "guru" training 101! I was very disappointed and out of there on day one. All I can say is, not everything is as it seems....major players you think you can trust because you read their books etc are also part of this "guru" industry. Watch out, some of the biggest and most successful names in the business associates themselves with "guru" training and no I'm not referring to HGTV flip-this-and-flip-that nonsense. It's very easy to fall into this trap. @Steven C. Suarez I hope your friend comes out of this with some dignity and money in his pocket, but I do understand and sympathize with his situation.

Yup Keith. Thanks for the heads up...I don't even know if I can call it "good" pieces of real estate advice. To be honest, I'm quite sad that Kiyosaki (that himself started from nothing really) associates with guru training like this, it's disappointing to say the least. I hope this is not the training business that him and Kim worked so hard on, if one can still believe that side of his story.

Thanks Tom. No takers yet. If anyone wants to go, let me know by this evening, I need to notify the organizers so they can make sure there is enough training material etc if I bring a guest.

Good evening all, I'm going to intermediate Robert Kiyosaki real estate training from Friday to Sunday in the Woodlands here in Houston. I can bring a guest along for free but none of my friends are really into REI (unfortunately for them). They do up sell at these trainings so be fore warned. If you'd like to attend for free let me know before tomorrow evening. BTW I'm not gaining anything from this, just putting it out there as a free opportunity that I don't want to let go to waste. If someone can be helped then great.

Hey @Joey Arrazolo, welcome to the BP community.

What Darius said is exactly the approach I'm taking with the realtor I have on my team. What you also need to take into account is that not every agent is an "Investor Friendly" one, so just make sure the one you approach actually is one, otherwise you just going to waste your time and effort. Also make sure that you have a primary and a backup one, they are super-busy! I met my primary one I'm using through my local REI. Once you meet one, you'll definitely recognize the difference between one that just sells homes and one that actually works with investors to buy and sell homes.
