I'm new to Real Estate Investing and I will be investing in Detroit and the surrounding areas. I don't know much about Inkster but I'm looking at Redford, Livonia, Westland, and Detroit right now.

I'm new to Real Estate but I've met great contacts and people who are willing to help me by attending Real Estate Investor Association (REIA) group meetings in my area. This is a great a start for meeting people who are currently investing in Real Estate.

Hello all. My neighbor is moving out of her house so that she can move in with her husband. They have been married for a while and have been maintaining two homes. They decided to let the one in my neighborhood go. They have not decided on if they should sale it or rent it out. They have been doing some minor fix up to the inside for a couple of months now. How do I approach her to inquire about possibly buying her home? Also, what should I look for to ensure that this is a property that I can work with (either buy and hold, buy and flip, or wholesale)? Thanks.

Matthew Petrovski, I'm new to real estate investing and intend to start out by wholesaling. I attended my very first REIA last week. It was intersting and I made a few contacts. They meet every third Thursday of the month at Wayne County Community College Eastern Campus in Detroit. I hope this helps.
