I have long heard it's when keys are in hand. I have never been challenged on this. You may as well get her to sign something if she's willing, but you should be good to go.

I have used cpvc in the past.

I have heard the big reason why the old union guys like copper is because there's more labor and they get the scrap at the end of the job. Perhaps thats the reason for the fear mongering.

I'd avoid copper unless I planned on putting the home on the market, if it was in a decent to great neighborhood.

Chase has now lost 2 of my mortgage payments this past calendar year. I have 2 mortgages with them. The first one they lost around June and it took me literally (I wish I was embellishing this) 20 hours on the phone and corresponding with those donkeys to get them to fix it and remove the negative credit reporting. It's amazing, the level of incompetence at the big banks.
The pathetic part is, after proving to them they lost the first payment (with delivery confirmation) they told me that "as a courtesy, we will reverse the last charges, etc."
What a bunch of idiots.

I'm looking for a good, user friendly milage log app. Does anyone use one they can refer me to? It doesn't need to or have to be free, I don't mind paying for one that does the job. I've tried a bunch and haven't found one that I like... thanks in advance.

It's so tough to get people to change their ways. They're on that other inferior site we discussed. Its 1988 style message board, custom with the dumbest auto filter is tougher to get people away from than you'd think. I agree with you completely. I think a lot of people don't realize how valuable this event is going to be.
I'm not sure I follow the BO remark... I'm still getting started today...

Google voice is a good solution.

If it's too tricky, you can get a 800 number from kall8 for a few dollars a month and have it ring through wherever you'd like. I have had one for years. If you sign up, please let me know, so I can get the whopping $5 referral credit.
It's really easy to set up and use.

Employers will usually demand a signed relase to provide you the info. I'd recommend trying to have them fill out a 1005 / VOE. Modify the standard form to take Hud's name off it as well as anything suggesting it's for a loan. It looks professional and it asks all the right questions.

If you get static, simply tell them you're underwriting their application similar to a loan.

The class could be summed up real easy. They took content that could be learned in 2 hours, spread it out over 8, and then gave a us a multiple choice test and informed us that if anyone failed, they would "work with them to help them pass" i.e. redo their test on the spot to pass them. I paid $300 and shed a full day of production for it. Brutal. The environmental companies just love this program. They probably grossed 15k for the 8 hour class and had 2 instructors.
