Hey Mark,

I don't think I am the best person to answer that question as many people know me to be able to adapt and work in any environment. I grew up in the Baltimore area in one of the toughest neighborhoods. So far, I've received two calls from my campaign which wasn't huge at all just 500 direct mailings. I am looking to tremendously increase it this month. I am hoping this second call is a deal. If you ever consider doing some work in Baltimore contact me I am sure we can work out a way for us to both make some money.

@Roland Paicelylol! I'm not a quitter and  I do value honest feedback. I will keep pushing until I get a deal. At this time, I am going to switch things up a bit, look in to some services to automate things and see what happens.

@John MaI am marketing to probates right now and yes I am close to DC, I'm in Maryland. I thought 500 mailings was decent but looking at what others are doing it seems as if many have automated their systems. I am interested in automating but I didn't get good feedback on vista print, or click2mail services. There is no way can manually do large volumes per month whole working a full time job.

Thanks Stephen,

@Stephen Barton I started off mailing out mailings all over the place and listened to a few podcast that recommended mastering one area first. I guess I didn't give it a chance long enough to see what strategy was the most effective. I am definitely a sponge right now trying to absorb all of the advice I can get from anyone that is willing to give it. I'm a hustler so hard work does not concern me at all, however, I do prefer to have a strategy and man with this wholesale business there seems to be no right or wrong way to do it. It's seems that everyone just has to find their niche and do what works best for them. I'd definitely like to stay connected and watch your progress. Thanks for the feedback, I am going to switch up my campaign a bit!

1800 mailing not one deal! Man! I know that was discouraging....did the momentum pick up after that?

@Roland Paicely@Claire Trammell@Rick H.thank you all for your input. After I am through with these postcards I am thinking of automating some things to increase the moment because working a full time job and trying to wholesale can be cumbersome.

My bandits say we pay top $$ for housing. And my post cards stress fast closing, quick cash, highlighting estates, vacants, tax liens, etc. I received my second call today and I am hoping this one will be my first wholesale. I will definitely keep you all posted.

Thanks for the input @Bryan O.and @Account Closed! I am looking for something really simple and not costly. I just want to be able to have an about us page, possibly some testimonials, photos of some current deals and that's about all. I am not at all familiar with building a website. I'd rather a template already be there that I can use.  I like the idea of the free CMS I just wonder if I am capable of building it on my own.

Hi guys,

I just wanted to get m input from seasoned wholesalers as I am a newbie. So far, I have been targeting probate leads and using bandit signs as a method of marketing. In the past month I've mailed out a little over 500 direct mailings via post card. Is that too much or too little? By now should I have received more calls than one? Any insight you can give would be great!
