Greetings Bigger Pockets Community!

My name is Hubert Washington and I live in Jacksonville, FL. I am just starting my journey into amazing world of real estate investing. I currently work in outside sales and my goal is to leverage the power of investing in real estate to allow me to get out of the rat race. I have spent the last 2 months reading every real estate investing book I can get my hands on and searching the web for any and all information on the subject. That is how I came across Bigger Pockets. After reading 3 EXCELLENT articles on the site and seeing all of of the comments and posts on the articles, I immediately felt like this was a community that I needed to be part of! I am excited about the opportunity to connect with other investors and real estate professionals and to begin learning and doing. Initially, I am looking to invest in multifamily properties in my local area for cashflow and begin building my multifamily real estate portfolio. As my knowledge and experience increase, my goal is to acquire enough passive income from my multifamily investments to all me to walk away from my job.
