I would highly recommend reading Ken McElroy's ABCs of Real Estate Investing and Wheelbarrow Profits by @Gino Barbaro. They both are great for laying out the "Why" and "How" of multifamily investing. Good Luck!

I am currently looking for my first multifamily investment and your experience just reinforced for me that even though I am new to the world of real estate investing, there is no reason why I can't make this happen.
