More specifically, where to find the detailed guide from Country or City for those rental regulations? The time when I moved to FL and I couldn't book hotel for more than 3 nights and re-booked after 3 nights. I was told this related to short-term rental regulation. The hotel is closet to TPA.

For only 750, this rate is good enough.

Hello BP members!

Next week I will be taking my RE agent licensing exam.
I would like to know if anyone in the Miami, Florida area can recommend a brokerage that is friendly to investor-agents. Basically, I am looking for someone to hang my license with that understands that I have a full-time job outside of real estate. If you could share the brokerage and the way the commissions/payments work, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you guys have any recommendations please let me know!

Thanks,
Aref

Please have a update for your exam. To work with a responsible, decent broker who can train and teach you is very important. I like to work with Mr. John Rogers.

Why even put that on their radar?

Besides how much travel are you going to have? And if you don't need to why would you start draining cash out of your IRA?

Good morning Bob E.,

Check the houses can have lots miles: I had almost 200 miles this weekends only.

I need to read Amanda Han's book one more time.

What are you mean "And if you don't need to why would you start draining cash out of your IRA?"

As a REI (I will not qualified for an agent because of my full time work time is more than RE), I have to check the properties and all activities and the expenditure from my pocket and I didn't draining cash from IRA.

I need to read Amanda Han's book one more time.

Thanks.

I am a part-time agent, full time employee not related to RE, and started drive around to check the houses, join the REIA, meet ups. Today's one house checking is 47 miles away with toll payments also.

Can I record those miles and other expenditure for tax deduction next year?

1) What is the best and convenience way to record the mileage? Do I need to keep picture and the dates for the house which I visited?

2) What is the best way to record the related receipt, such as buy some things for mails, copies etc.?

Thanks for sharing.

@Huiping S. Thank you, and congrats on passing your first time!

I did all my training online and I feel I didn't see one question of the state exam before. The 90 minutes made me almost don't know how to walk out but I passed. I feel you really need to understand every concept but no way to remember and pass the test.

Good luck and I hope you pass it also!!
