Welcome Nicole Wms. I just passed pre-license exam few days ago and move towards the final license exam, and hope all be finished by April.

Grand Rapids renting is much more expensive compared to buying a home. Most the neighborhood maintained well but that place is really not friendly at all for non-Whites.

I am on the final preparation phase of my license test and I think: get the license to access MLS maybe one advantage but the biggest advantage is to understand the laws and regulations. I read the exam books, listen,and read on BP at the same time. I spend some weekends time to see some homes by following sales agent (friend) and to find meaning of what I learned theoretically. I understand the concepts related to RE much better. I felt more confidence that I will not put my money on something I have limited or no idea. Maybe it is just for an person with English as second language and come from different RE culture.
