"@Michael Roy "

Do you have anything specific or memorable that you have taken from one of your meetings and apply today?

Here's another caveat to this thread-- What are the things you do/focus on 20% of the time that you feel makes 80% of the difference?

Good stuff! I like the little mental game you play about guessing house prices. I'm sure those little things add up and help you get better at this game. Those kind of little habits are what I want to start implementing daily to help me learn and to become an investor.

Jay and Mitch, great responses!

I was thinking more along the lines of tangible habits that one might do to keep up to date on the market of their area, ways to generate leads, etc.

Hello again BP! Noob here. I've been studying success and real estate investing, but I am still in college and have a part time job, so my time is extremely limited to spend towards just real estate investing. So, I want to dive into the heads of those of you who actually are real estate investors to get an idea of some habits and rituals that I could pick up that will lead me to a successfull real estate investing career.

What are the little things that you do every single day/week/month/whatever that makes you a real estate investor?

"@Barton Wallace "

Hello Barton, I am a just a newbie living in the Fredericksburg area so I don't have much insight on the market itself. Just thought I would wish you a warm welcome should you decide to move here.

Cheers!

"@Jesse T. " and "@Jason King " Thanks for suggestions! They have definitely helped me figure out a clearer path on how to tackle this project.

"@Michael Olesky " I definitely will update this thread with my results, if my group and I decide to go this direction that is. Thanks for the link!

"@Bryan Hancock " Thanks for your reply. I was mostly just curious about if I could even leverage land into a loan. I am still in school and educating myself on investment strategies but have been leaning towards flips. Thank you again for the advice, it definitely helped know what steps I need to take next.
