My question is this...when I find a 'deal', don't I (and the seller) still have to pay closing cost? There is still a titling agency, inspections, and clerical work needed isn't there??

I can't imagine they would charge anything more for IKEA cabinets vs Lowes (or whoever). Just my opinion though, not personally dealt with that scenario.

That all doesn't sound so bad. The tenant with the bogus call would elicit a warning that next time they would need to pay for the service call if it turned out to be outside the normal wear and tear idea.

What was your purchase price of the duplex? (if you don't mind me asking)

Great! Thanks for the info, I just gotta find out if its possible to deduct the vehicle cost.

I will start keeping a notepad in the car to record mileage when DFD.

Does anybody know if I can deduct expenses when 'driving for dollars'? Also, If I purchase a new vehicle for that, can I deduct this expenses?
