Applause Dawn I see this as a great example of simple and direct.

Also I stand to correct the term .... it is eminent domain which is law of the land and not time factor. I have tried to find more on the use of silver and the relationship of using this for property purchase, simply have not been able to get any information. I have asked several realtors but, none were familiar with the practice.

I think it does have something to do with land grants, a co worker did this when she moved to Atlanta, in fact she sold her home in Waldorf Maryland and took 150k in silver to purchase in the area. I lost contact and never was able to find out what the results were when she put the money on the table. Her lawyer understood and worked with her ..... that is what I wanted to find out. I have spoken to one associate and he stated he used the silver eagle coin and only 22 pieces down on the table. Unless one knows the facts it will only seem like a joke but, I know there is more to it. Yes I am aware of the typical method of placing cash on the table but, there is more to this when one is using "real money" and not simply the notes we pass every day.

I am anticipating moving into my real estate quest after October 2015, as this is when my bankruptacy can be written off my credit report. I was a single parent when I attempted to buy a property. I didn't win the bid but, learned something. So now as I groom myself for buying multi-family units I would like to know has anyone used silver bullion to place down on a property, and what the implications are when purchased in this manner. I understand at this point that one can own the land and the structure and the principle of " immenient domain" shall be different. I am in the state of Maryland and a woman who stated to me she owned both the land and the stucture, caused a light to go off in my head. What are the advantages and how does this affect the ownership? I personally know of somewone who did this and have not been able to find information as to the practice.
