I've heard yellow papers in direct mail and such associated with wholesaling but is it a common method to find great deals for Buying and Holding? I'm a first time Buyer as a real estate investor and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to find the best deals out there.

Hi,
My Wife and I are excited to get started in real estate investing as a team. We currently are deciding between focusing on either Flipping Single Family homes or Buying and Holding. My question is do you think it is essential to get a real estate license to be successful? If so, do you think both me and my wife need one or would one between us suffice?
Thanks,
James

@Michelle Mapp - Thanks Michelle, I tried looking it up but couldn't find any info on the meeting on the 18th. Do you have any direct link that might take me there?

Thanks Everyone! @Ali Boone me and my wife are currently deciding that but are currently doing a lot of reading before we make a final decision. I think the route we are thinking of going currently is between the buy and hold method and flipping single family homes.

Hi Guys,
My name is James, I'm 26 years old and a professional musician in the Los Angeles County area. I am married and recently had my first baby 6 months ago. I am really interested in jumping in head first into the real estate investor community. I want the best for my family and that is a strong reason for why I've decided to start moving this direction. If you guys have any advice for getting started I'd love to hear it.
Best,
James
