Thanks @Mary B.
You're right: a downside is probably the franchise fee. Maybe an upside would be scalability with a larger one-stop network...

In no way am I associated with Renovation Realty, but I live in CA and it looks like their business model is growing in my state; they just opened a franchise office in the Bay Area.
Apparently they rehab your house and help you sell it for the higher ARV. I'm curious if anyone else has heard about this company, and if you believe it is a good or bad idea or will gain any traction?
Their website: www.renovationrealty.com
Thanks

Thanks @Mike Alder
Additionally, I was looking at IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management's) website:

Looks like this could also be a great resosource to find a professional on the ground for documentation of a project...

Thread Resurrected!
Thanks all for the info, especially for those of us unlicensed/passive investors in CA.
It appears "finder's fees" is the appropriate term if it's just being happy about a current investment, and telling another to contact the firm offering the investment...

Thanks for the tips @Mike Alder
Besides local BP members, who are some reliable 3rd party people you would recommend to take pics/vid of a property?
