Another $1200 would be accepted by most tenants if desperate. and Paying them to leave is Cheaper than hiring a lawyer and losing 6 months' rent.

You're spot on with SOME people will do the right thing and pay rent/ bills.  Will prioritize keeping a roof over their head rather than spending $50 on take out food every night and buying more and more stuff online.

But we live in a consumer driven world... spenders gonna spend.  Here comes that new iPad and TV w/  $1,200 free " Uncle Sam Bucks"

And here we go...

Everyone ready for the most roller coaster month we've likely ever lived through?

Best of luck to everyone in their business and tenant day to day operations!

HI Tammie,

That does sound like a decent price.  I know bigger house tear downs can be 10k +

Possibly get 1 more quote, but they are probably pretty close w/ the 8000.

Good luck on the journey

This stock market is a total enigma.  It's UP after this weekend... The powers that be must really know things that we don't know.

Or is this all just smoke and mirrors?

Very strange times, I thing sitting on the sidelines a little longer will be beneficial.

AGREED with pulling money out of 401 K / Stocks.  Not sure why it was up so much this past week, seems like major smoke and mirrors.

So many strange things happening so quickly with markets... lots to study and make strong decisions in the coming weeks and months.

At a minimum, now's the time to educate and know your market.

I'm in a big city with lots of micro- R.E. markets, I'll be doing plenty of studying while on lock down.

Crazy... I feel like we're gonna enter the Wild West here -  Too many changes, too quickly for this economy to keep up.

Nobody really, really knows....

But If I were a betting man, it's greater than a coin flip chance of YES. Buckle up.

Here's my take.....I'm leaving everything as is, and riding this either into the ground or into the future several years ahead. I read an article about 3-4 months back that said the two groups of people that have done the best in the stock market over the last 20 years were; Dead People, and those that forgot they had an account. Yep. Those that did nothing but let it ride. I'm happy I have my real estate holdings as diversification.

Agreed with basically all above.   I took a nice chunk out of the market on about March 10th or so, whenever NY state started having major  issues and the National Guard was mentioned in some news articles.

NOBODY knows where the bottom of this is, and you know there's lots of behind the scenes games being played.

But I'm willing to bet that the Stock market in Mid-april will look uglier than it is now.  So I'm ready on the sidelines.

Amazon is still cruising along at $1,900 a share, wild.

Facebook and Google are way down from their Highs, I have them on my Xmas wish list
