@Adrian Fajardo it does look like there is a need for better grading, but I believe your real problem is a design flaw. Uncovered exterior doors are prone to weather damage. Water will find its way in and cause damage. An overhang that somewhat protects this door would be helpful. It appears you’re on a slab which is good because that means there’s no floor system damage. It’s probable there is hidden damage to the jack studs holding the door header up.

@Todd Powell I like when people say “I’m tired”. This is absolutely worth it, but also takes so much effort.

I’ve heard today that BB&T is raising investment mortgage rates to 6-7% to slow demand. They’re overwhelmed with refi and trying to control the influx of business. Temporary or new normal?

@Mark Pace I thought they were trying to close beaches. My wife said they were closing beaches in Miami. We’re supposed to be in Ft Myers in 2-3 weeks and not sure if we’re going to be going.
@Natalie Kolodij any tips on meet ups? I tried to find some, but didn’t see them.

Does anyone even know how Mortgage forebearance would even work? Would every mortgage just freeze or would each person be required to apply and be approved? The latter seems nearly impossible to process in any timely fashion.

@John Walter it’s also worth noting that the way you hold title can have a significant impact on the type of lending you have available to you. This is a frequently discussed topic with tons of opinions, but there doesn’t seem to be a firm “right answer”. Take in as much info as you can and make best choices for you.

@Theresa Harris you’ve pretty much spelled out my concern with the shared shed.

B. I’m probably going to pursue section 8 so that may solidify your advice to hire it out.
