Forgive me if there is a discussion about this topic already but I did some searching and was unable to find anything.

What does one do when there is junk left in and around a house you purchase that has potential value to someone?  If there are junker cars left in the yard, or broken washers, dryers, etc?  I know at a minimum there is some scrap value for the metal.  What does everyone do to get rid of the excess junk?  Who do you call and can you actually get some money out of the deal?

Chris Clark yeah I understand there is one the first Saturday of every month. I'd be there, unfortunately I am still down in Louisiana until my terminal leave starts on 2 June. I don't think I'll be able to make it in time for the June Meetup because it on 3 June right? I'm bummed I'll probably miss it. Hopefully I can pick your brain another time and it's nice to meet already be meeting a CPA because I obviously need someone like you to succeed. :)

Chris Clark Hey man, I'm a newbie as well. I will be getting to Wichita this June and start attending the REIA meetings then. Hope to see you there. One question. As a CPA do you specialize in real estate business accounting? Is that what made you turn to investing?

Aaron McCarty I'm actually still in Louisiana for the next month or so. I'm still finishing out my time in the Army. I start my final leave this June and should be up in Wichita by the 4th or so. Long story short, I can't make it then. But will definitely attend after I arrive in June. I am excited to meet some investors and get started in my own investing.

Shane H. on top of my MBA classes I planned on taking a real estate class per quarter. I'm fortunate enough to have Dr. Longhofer for one of my first classes for my program so will definitely try and pick his brain. I'm very excited to be going back to school.
