@Charles Seaman hi could you please share 2017 report? I feel most likely the cities on the list will repeat. The key is to see the Change, not the list itself.

Plus for  people who just starts this apt thing,  Very valuable to invest locally even if the return is lower. For me I focus investing my own money , sometime with friends as minor partner. Each partner brings some value, I don’t plan to charge general partner fee yet I do have controlling vote rights.

I would say go ahead with 4 plex. It is a waste of time to test water with SFH then go multi. It doesn't help that much my opinion.

this is an old thread. Now most places in US start controllining short term rental. for example North myrtle beach, after business license etc, there is no profit left for STR.

I am considering investing quads or small multifamily in myrtle beach.

Would like to connect with local expert.

Need advice on PM, broker, flood insurance etc.

Just read news. Is Shockoe Bottom D area? Shoot is near E Main St and 17th st area, very close to the train station.

How about following locations:

Jackson Ward,

Monroe Ward,

Church hill, 

Union Hill, 

Church hill north?

Is musemn Disctrict better or Fan district?
