@Lydia S. I know I missed it but will try to catch the next one. Running around trying to get my first deal! Also, love the PT thing but am looking to jump into something new!
@Frankie Woods I'm learning that the more I get into this. Market seems hot hot hot right now. But I hold true to my goals of 1 deal this year. Head down!

Welcome @Claudia R. I just joined BP even though I have probably listened to 50+ of their podcasts. Concerning your number 2, I don't think you're crazy at all. I am about to rent my home as well and hopefully make it cash flow or at least come close. Thinking about renting it to some friends of mine which may or may NOT be a good thing. We shall see I suppose.

Hey there Bigger Pockets! I finally updated my profile and am ready to jump in.
My name is JC Cochran. I live in 'burque, NM.
Graduated from University of New Mexico with a degree in Physical Therapy many moons ago. So of course real estate is the next logical step :).
Had a little midlife crisis when I turned 41 this year when I realized I have 25+ more years to work and my 401(k) just isn't cutting it. :(
I currently own my personal residence but the whole BRRR and buy and hold strategy appeals to me currently. Also wouldn't mind house hacking. I would rent out my current residence and do a live in flip on a duplex.
Would love to buy some coffee for local NM people who wouldn't mind telling me their RE story. Thanks so much for any contributions you may have.
Almost forgot....
Does anyone have any recommendations on good books for Landlording? Or BRRR? Or househacking?
