Post: Rollover IRA conversion to ROTH

Hello,
I am exploring the possibility of converting some or all of my Rollover IRA account into ROTH IRA account to reduce my tax burden when I retire. I understand that this would be a taxable event and I would be required to pay taxes for this conversion. However, my question is, what are some of the mechanisms to reduce or offset this tax burden? Can I also do this conversions in smaller chunks over the next few years, provided tax laws don't change?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi,
What are some of the most popular sites (preferably free/cheap) for listing rental properties in the Bay Area, CA. Back in the days I believe Craigslist used to be very popular but now mostly spammers and scammers.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Post: Checklist prior to renting out primary house

Hello,
I have been renting out rooms in the primary house I have been living in, however I am thinking of renting out the entire house and move to my second home which is currently being renovated to make things a little easy for me.
Since I have never rented out entire house to families, I am looking for some do's and don'ts perhaps if there is a checklist of items I should go through prior to renting out the house. Would it be a good idea to bring in a local real estate agent or some professional to walk through the house and figure out if there are things which I should take care of to reduce the liability prior to renting it out?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Post: Want to Xfer HSA account and invest the money in HSA account

Hello,
I no longer have HSA compatible health insurance plan but have an HSA account from past, which has decent amount of money in it. The current custodian of my HSA account doesn't allow investment in fact it charges monthly maintenance fees, essentially eroding the value of my account.
I want to know if there are other custodians where I could transfer my account to and also invest the money to grow it. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you.

Hello,
I am currently in the middle of delayed financing (cash out) for the second property I recently purchased, All of the cash out money would go into rehabbing the property.
Since the interest rates are low, I am also refinancing my primary home. However, just today I read the following article
https://www.sfchronicle.com/business/networth/article/Want-to-refinance-Make-sure-you-understand-the-15112448.php
I am unclear as to whether I would be able to deduct all the interest on both of these properties?

Hello,
If the mortgage refinance loan is approved and is with the underwriter, can you still go back to renegotiate the rates if the rates have gone down, especially if there was no rate lock placed when the process started about 9-10 days ago?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Hello,
I am working on the floor plan for an ADU and I have options of two roughly 10X12 BR or one very large BR with a huge closet. From rental perspective which one of these two options would be more lucrative?

Hello,
I am working with a designer/planner to change the floor plan of the house I am rehabbing. This is my first time ever rehabbing a house or undertaking any major renovation/remodel work. I have a designer/planner. He is making changes I am proposing but at times I feel it would be great if he could also provide more of his suggestions as well rather than just taking orders. Anyways, I am wondering if there are any online places where people can provide suggestions based on as-built and proposed plans which would get me the best value for my money and create a nice layout for rental, resell or personal use point of view.
Thanks in advance for your response.
