What are the tax implications on this? When he sells is there an exemption since it is his first home? Or will he be taxed capital gains, if you know a CPA in Texas as well that would be great! Thank you all.

Hello everybody! Anybody in the Dallas TX area know a great tax preparer for rental properties? I actually have no idea How to start the "tax advantages" process when owning a rental property. Iv had mine for a full year now gaining passive income and I want to know the proper steps to file those taxes correctly and get the most out of it? any people/companies to recommend?

Good evening my BP friends ! This may be a rookie question but I just want to clarify it with ya’ll, how would a rental property partnership work ? Split everything down the middle ? Cash flow, appreciation, holding cost ? And is there a special contract I should type up to make things clear on who pays what. What are your experience with partnering on rentals ? I want to go my portfolio faster and I believe partnering with somebody can help me a lot in acquiring more properties.

anybody here invested in special real estate ? primarily laundromat or dry cleaners or anything similar to that nature. do you only rent out the space or are active in the business yourself ? how is the experience ? cost to startup or reno ? I see a lot of potential in a laundry rehab where I'm from I just want to get more insight in the business. anything is appreciated thank you !
