Hello Beth,

Would like to follow you, and see what answers you get on this topic. My brother purchased a mobile home in Florida, and he wants to sell it because he travels a lot, and doesn't have time to maintain it. However, I'm on taking it off his hands.

I'm new to mobile homes, and I would like to learn more on how how to manage it. In the meantime, I will be doing some of my own research on mobile homes.

Evan Polaski, Thank you for your feedback. It's great to get feedback on my question, greatly appreciate it.

I just joined a real estate investor club, and attended virtual meetups, I've learned a lot from them as well. I am meeting with a mortgage broker friend this weekend, and going to visit my credit union to see what information I can get from them.

I'm a researcher and determined :) 

Hopefully, I can get lucky and find that duplex and have the seller consider seller financing. It won't hurt to ask.

Thank you for the feedback.

I will be renting the second apartment to my sister. I was thinking of asking her to partner up with me, since she is a W-2 employee. However, the downpayment will come from me, so I have to figure out how to handle the partnership part :)
