In my opinion the bar for larger MF is very high. If your talking 2-4 units probably not so much of a hurdle.

 If your wife is accommodating that is probably the best you can ask for at this time and may be the best you could ever hope for.  She may never want to read those books that you like on investing. Your wife spinning in circles with excitement over real estate is not a requirement for being a good wife.


My wife has been accommodating  over the years and has never read one of my real estate books. She has went on many appointments with me and has helped me close deals, but could care less about training and such. My wife helps me manage our portfolio and is an expert book keeper.

Yes, I'd be happy to talk about Owner finance documents and we do send out demand letters--what type of demands?

Demand letters for non payment on owner finance transactions. As the lender I can send it out, but it is more credible coming from an attorney.

What we are looking for is an attorney that will do owner financing docs as well as demand letters from time to time.  
Any recommendations?

You hold real estate to help you retire, unless you have a large company retirement in place.

You don’t kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs so you can retire. If self management is an issue then put the with a property management company.

You don’t give any numbers etc. Unless the landlord is offering good terms or a great price there is not a deal.
