Hey Arron! Welcome to BP. You will definitely learn a ton here. Lots of good people willing to help out the new and misdirected  I've learned a ton here already (thanks to everyone that ever answered one of my thousand and one questions..). I don't know if you've checked out the blogs yet, but if you're into REO's, you might check out the blogs on the subject by Stephani Davis. She's really knowledgable on the subject and is very helpful. Good luck!
Thanks Nick!
Ok, so I tried the fake house thing, and it worked! Only one bite so far, but we'll see how it pans out in the next couple of days. Thanks Joe P and Nick for the ideas and advice!
Thanks Nick! I did put my number down at the end of all of them. Both in the body and the signature. I also included my website (which includes a buyers list application. Of course I would call those people to establish contact after they filled it out. But nothin yet. If you woudn't mind writing something about how to do CL ads the right way, that would be super, cause I don't think I've got it down just yet :) I don't anticipate getting any bites till sometime tomorrow, being that today is sunday, but I'll let everyone know how it goes. Until tomorrow... :)
Alrighty, just posted the ad (thanks Joe P) and round and round we go...
Wow... over a week, and almost nothing but spam from any of the 4 ads I've tried. I didn't want to do it like this, but maybe I'll post a fake house after all and see how it goes. I'll report back in a few days

Hey Scott, if you're working with a title company, you can often get those kinds of lists from them for free. They just want you to bring the business to them when you close the deals.

I find that to be true. Along with someone's previous post that religion is nothing more than humankinds' interpretation of its relationship with its Creator. I've made a study of many religions. For fun. Because I'm a nerd  I've found that once you get past all of the window dressing, even most polytheistic religions believe in the concept of one creative force. To them, it's un-nameable, unapproachable, and impossible to have a relationship with, strictly speaking. There's really no point of contact from a human perspective because the Creator, to whomever is trying to experience it, has nothing in common with us (from a strictly human perspective). Most believe It to be everywhere and in everything (Christians too). God to most Christians (I think) isn't some old guy up in the sky. That would be ridiculous. It's something much, much more. We can't even comprehend with our brains the concept of "infinite" Intellectually yes, but not with any degree of understanding.
So back to polytheism in many cultures, they understood their many gods as simply understandable reflections of certain aspects of the One. And the gods were often human-ish in appearance so that they could better relate to them. But it all goes back to the One if you really look at it. God himself is more of an abstract concept than anything. Just our attempt to relate. The perfect love that comes through God into a person's life, if they allow it to, is not. That's something tangible (in a sense) and something we can all understand.
Hey all! I was just wondering, for those of you that have done some wholesale deals, if you had a pre-packaged conract, like from a course or legal website or something, if you had to get the contracts (assignment, purchase) reviewed by your attorney, or if you just used them as is? If you did have to get them reviewed, what's a reasonable price for that? Thanks!
