Thanks for your response, @Account Closed. Others have mentioned that JetLending too. I am also going to look into an event with Houston Real Deal held closer to my area.
Sounds great, Charles. See you at the event next week!
Hi @Charles Nguyen, do you still hold a meet-up in the midtown area?
This is all great information. Thanks to everyone for adding their input on these different groups. It is still helpful months later!

Hi @Account Closed - did you end up attending this event? What was your impression of the group? Not to offend anyone, but some of the material seemed slightly sales-pitchy.
Thanks for your time, Viet!

Thanks @Umar Javaid @Tom Kaider and @Domingo Santana for your welcome! I did not want to be one of those posters that makes an introduction and then falls off the map. Unfortunately the BP app for Android seems to have some issues, so I have trouble posting from there.
I look forward to becoming more active on the forums.
Thanks!

Thanks for that informative list, @Brad Larsen. I was unaware of some of those reasons why PM is attractive.

Hello BiggerPockets community,
My name is Jordan Dupuis and I am interested in buy and hold investing and raw land strategies in Houston, Texas, specifically inner-loop multi-family properties, and surrounding areas. I also am investigating other forms of strategic investing in real estate. I found the BP podcast a few months ago and am catching up from episode 1 to present. The content is educational, inspirational and entertaining, so many thanks to Josh and Brandon for leading these great conversations.
I also am seeking a real estate agent license to better serve the investor community and become an "investor friendly agent" in my area.
I look forward to meeting other Houston investors in the near future to learn more about this market and about other strategies.
Best,
Jordan Dupuis
