Hey Erica, I am not up in that area, down in the Lewiston/Auburn area, but welcome! Do you currently own the property up there or buying to rent out short term? Beautiful area for sure.

I am located in the Lewiston/Auburn area. What part of Maine would you be doing this? I am not sure if you would be looking to rent or sell of the home you put on your land. I do know as a buyers agent many of my buyers do not like modulars, and don't even want me to show them to them. I have try to educate them some, but most still are not interested. I am not sure if that is a Maine thing, or an area specific thing, but just think through that if this is a build and sell.

I may end up putting a modular or trailer on a property later this year, but it is in a town where I think people wouldn't mind that. I have buyers in that town looking for trailers and they like them. I think a big thing is what you are doing and what are you are planning to do it in.

@Reed Baker Are you guys on campus now? I am in Auburn and have been active at Bates in the past, I know that may mean we are now enemies ;). Love to hear you guys are thinking about this now and setting yourselves up. I think what @Bob Langworthy said above about buying individually could be wise... Lisbon and Lisbon falls is a very hot market. People like both of those towns due to closeness to coast, and Portland, pretty good schools, and prices aren't where the Durham or Freeport prices are.

Even in this market there are deals to be found, just have to dig harder and beat the bushes more. If you are in the Auburn area, I'll treat ya to a drink sometime.

Stephen, I am not sure about the question, but I have a couple buyers looking for seasonal ocean properties, so if you do end up splitting them, I could have someone interested in buying them. Thanks, and best of luck.
