Every first Tuesday of the month SAREIA holds their monthly meeting, also there is a real estate investor meet up at Joe Blues on that same Tuesday. Two completely different environments, both are great just depends on what you're looking for.

I believe every second Thursday of the month ALAMOREIA, has their monthly meeting.

Tomorrow @ 11 their will be a Lunch and Learn, on Flip vs Wholesale

Many opportunities around town!

If you are looking to flip, I would first figure out what your exact barriers of entry are. Whether that be funds, access to deals, or other contacts to help you succeed. Once you figure which barriers are stopping from flipping, tackle them!

Figure out a target market that you can become an expert in. From the other comments in this thread, the investors all had a market that they are experts in, San Marcos etc., find yours!

I would then roll up your sleeves and get dirty, best way to gain experience. Many investors get lost in the sidelines just watching the game get played! Don't be one of them!

Wish you all the best Dusty, if you need any guidance, please reach out!

Ribu, I have solid contacts for hard money lenders, contractors, and realtors. I also acquire several wholesale properties a month if you're looking for deals.

By all means, please reach out to me with any questions or contact info you may need.

I would look into investing in the San Antonio market. As we continue to grow at such a rapid rate, our barriers of entry are still significantly lower than the Dallas market. I buy and sell multiple properties under 100K all over the city. As a newer investor I would look into targeting appreciating areas, where their is more room for error.

Keith,

For all my foundation work, I use Diegos House Leveling , he does about 4 properties of mine a month and is FAST, COMPETITVE, and the most important RELIABLE.

He makes foundation work a walk in the park.

Michael Ortega

-Omega Elite Construction & Renovations

-Not the cheapest, but he does quality work, and very dependable. Those last two are the most important thing. You pay for what you get.

-Would also look into subcontracting everything.

Reach out to Diego's House Leveling (Foundation). I have referred him out to several of my investors properties, he is priced well, and very reliable.
