I thought this site WAS social media!

There is a marina near me that has developed "dockominiums".   This marina has a lot going on...a bit like a condo yacht club.  Just some ideas to throw out there...

Before they do anything else, I would encourage your coworker to start working with the BP analysis tools to get some idea of what is really going on.  They need knowledge, not action.  The last thing they need to do is to blindly jump into an even bigger deal.

Heather, if your landlord is a complete idiot and tries to evict such a responsible tenant as you for a first time late payment (which I doubt he can do), you can come live in one of my houses!

Have you got the wife and kids on board with the moving and downsizing?  

Ask your mom to watch the flip shows on HGTV.   Maybe it would help her understand once she sees lots of "before" and "afters".   Send her lots of photos of your progress. 

I know this may be simplifying things,  but isn't dealing with tenant problems and problem tenants what we hire a property manager for?
