I would start off by finding a great realtor who has experience in working with investors.  In addition, I would go to local real estate investor meet up groups so you can connect and talk to both realtors and investors.  Good luck to you in taking the first steps.  Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

Welcome and congrats on taking action.  The site is loaded with Free and informative information.  Make sure you also listed to the Biggerpockets podcast as well.  I wish you success in all of you endeavors.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Zillow.  I have heard about Zillow cash offers becoming more popular.  It sure sounds like the classic bait and switch.  They want to get you committed in writing to sell and pull a way to hit you with a much lower price in hopes that you cave.
