thanks @David Midgett

totally makes sense,  It's more about getting an agent to work with me and send me deals asap, what i have found is that most good agents already have flippers they work with and I'm looking for a way to get a foot in the door.

As for the video Im thinking it would be for an agents listed properties, what agent doesn't want a (free) video for a non REO property? I wasn't aware that some agents just do REO and SS.

Thanks

I'm a firm believer in mutually beneficial relationships, I own a video production company in NYC and I've been debating using my company and skills to offer realtors production services in exchange for good REO/short sale deals. Im at a lost as to how to find/approach realtors that work with REO's and offer my services. Any advice? if there are any realtors out there is this something you would consider? My goal is to build a mutually beneficial relationship in connecticut and to lock down deals before they are even released to the public. Thanks in advance!

John will the gc be upset if you hire more then one? The ultimate goal for a gc is to make money and he might feel like he's losing money if you have 2.

Mls is good but a lot of competition, direct marketing is great if your a people person. It all depends on your personality and what you enjoy, it's not always about money.

I've been fixed on finding a flip book but breaking down the process and looking for specific topics is a great idea! I definitely need to learn more about the buying and selling process (not acquisition) so I'll start there.  Interior Design is the most exciting part of the process for me so ill leave that for last.  Thanks Jonathan

Hey everyone, i just finished "the book on flipping houses" its an amazing book! I'm looking for a second book and I've com across a lot of motivational/get rich quick stuff that seems pointless to me.    I will be joining my professional flipping friend on some flips soon so i just want to be more knowledgeable, not motivated.

Jay Great book by the way!

thanks all
