Are houses in the north like in chicago, maryland more likely to have more repair cost compared to in the south like houses in at the coast? Due to the cold temp\which are not very defensive about changes in temp

But houses in the south coast have hurricane and high wind Arn't they also have highly repair cost

Whats are your repair cost bill?

@Hattie Dizmond

Does having a lot of positive feedback and sales implied the agent is safe? He or she would look after your interest

For contractors what qns to ask to screen them? Asking for references is good but they may give those customers who are satisfied with them

Property mgmt is a little more difficult to gauge really have to talk to those uses their service

@K. Marie Poe

How did you pay the money to contractor? Do you pay the GC in parts at each complete "small project" Did they send you bill and pic of the work done?

The 15k is inclusive of material and labor cost?

@Hattie Dizmond

Who would on the team? Buyer agent, property mgmt, handyman, contractors?
What are the questions should be ask in order to screen them?

Since they are from different area would not have to fix up appointment in between them to meet up like fix a appointment with contractor and get the property mgmt person to be at the house to meet him

Alternatively would be better to get a "can type of team"? Some agent works work with contractors and even have their property mgmt team

Some of the agents work with contractors to reno houses so are for property mgmt companies

Which is better get a agent with contractor connection or a property mgmt companies to reno the house ?

Or source for own contractor and get the pm to meet the contractor to reno

Asking this due to buying from out of state

Should be concerned with that?

Talk to a quite a no of pm and they all seems to use contractor for repair for little job except for one uses handyman

What would be the generally expected cost different between using contractor and handyman for similar repair job?
