Local CT lender here, there's plenty of opportunities in Norwich. If you're looking for that 50k and under market it really doesn't matter the town or county you're looking in. That price point gathers a predetermined rental market along with other metrics just based off price.

Read read read. Save money and invest in books about investing. Align yourself with people that are where you want to be in business. Learn about leverage. Learn about the finance portion of investing in real property. You're young, go work at a investment office and learn. You'll never regret it. Then go make a killing.

Request a deposit statement, if he won't show you then your flags are confirmed. If you think the deal is worth it let me know the details, I fund in Texas.

This scenario is where the state provided care given to the mother will be repaid to the state by sale of the property. At that point the state will collect what is owed and the balance, if any will be passed on to the estate.

Hello all! My name is Kevin from CT and I am getting settled here at Bigger Pockets. In short, I've always been involved in investment real estate at some degree. Aside from holding paper and multifamily property, my niche is low document commercial, and Fix and Flip lending for new and seasoned investors. I am nationwide with the exception of a few states. I hope to be able to bring some experience to the community and forge some long-time profitable relationships. I'd be happy to help anyone with lending questions regardless if theres a deal involved at the end. Thank you!

I don't know what constitutes self promotion on here but we do much less than 20% down on HML and f&f funding. (Not trying to advert). It's out there for sure. And I'm talking non seasoned investors as well. I've noticed a semi shift in the bigger lenders, tighter credit boxes and higher down payments to hedge.
