If your building has fewer than 50 units or is a single family home than it's free to list your rentals on Zillow, Trulia and HotPads.  You create and manage one listing that appears on all three consumer sites.  Good luck.

You can still easily edit your listing after activation, so don't worry about adding better photos later.  The updates to Zillow, Trulia and HotPads listings will show within minutes.  The updates to the syndication partners are dependent on how often the partner sites update.

@Casey Carroll

Hi Casey,

As Sabrina mentioned, Zillow Rental Manager is still a listing syndication tool with the same functionality as Postlets.  If you go to "Settings" you'll see the list of sites it syndicates and can adjust accordingly.

You can also still use it for FSBO, however we encourage you to try Zillow's FSBO posting path which also syndicates to Trulia.

Cheers,
Krista

@Amit M.

Technically you cannot list parking spaces / garages, but I'm sure there are work arounds like saying "garage" for unit number or something.

@Amit M.

 You need a phone number to create an account on Postlets, but you can choose to hide it on the listing as long as you identify yourself as the owner (instead of a property management company).

@J. Martin  Postlets sends the listings to Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, Zumper, LiveLovely, etc.  You can opt of the non-Zillow owned sites, but the default is to send it to all of them.

Hope that helps!

You can find vacancy data by MSA at https://www.census.gov/housing/hvs/data/rates.html and you can find it by geography at www.factfinder.census.gov.  Search for table B25004, then you can filter by state and geography.  Hope this helps.
